Jacinda Arden Visits Central Hawke's Bay

Prime Minister Jacdina Ardern visited Central Hawke’s Bay yesterday. 

It was the Prime Ministers first visit to CHB, and she was joined by Agriculture Minister Damien O’Connor, and MP’s Kieran McAnulty, Anna Lorck and Meka Whaitiri

Steve Wyn Harris caught up with Prime Minister Jacinda Arden on her recent visit to Central Hawke's Bay.  An interview for the Cockies hour and a quick photo opportunity

CHB Swim A Thon

More than $4500 was raised from yesterday’s CHB Swim-4-Lives Swimathon.
The event raises money to help local school children to grow their knowledge, confidence and abilities in deep water.
A total of 13.85kms was swum yesterday by competitors, or 554 lengths of the Indoor Pool.
Jason Wyn-Harris and Paige Franklin tied the individual swim with 30 lengths each in their ten minutes, only 5 lengths shy of the record set by Bevan Jacobs in 2017.
The winning team was the AQUA Whales and Calves, with 39 lengths.
The CHB College Sea-lions were the top fundraising team with $460, with Keena Higginson the kids top fundraiser with $310.
