Waipawa Over Night Stop & Go

8 Weeks starting Monday 22 April | 7pm-6am

Plan ahead for eight weeks of overnight STOP/GOs between Ruataniwha St and Church/Victoria St, 7pm to 6am each night Sunday to Thursdays starting Monday 22 April.

Please stop on request, adhere to temporary speed limits where in place and expect delays of up to five minutes through the area. These works are dependent on various factors and could be extended at short notice.

CHB Community Patrols - Volunteers Wanted

Community Patrols Waipukurau are looking for volunteers to help with Friday and Saturday night community patrols to help spread the coverage of Waipukurau & Waipawa patrols.

Patrols usually take 2-2.5 hours, and volunteers patrol as a team of two.

Volunteers can expect to be patrolling schools and businesses, checking for insecure premises, damage and looking out for any suspicious behaviour which is reported directly to local police.

Are you feeling a bit lonely and struggle to get out, Chatterbox could be the service for you. This is a free service available to anyone 65 and over. Our team will come and meet with you and learn about your interests so we can match you with a volunteer. All our volunteers are police checked. Kia Ora Programme

Health Hawkes Bay is offering a wonderful programme to help us and/or our loved ones to self-manage chronic Long-term conditions.

The Kia Ora programme/ Stanford Programme is a Chronic Disease Self-Management programme for those who suffer a long-term condition. It is an internationally recognized self-management course developed by Stanford University, to help people better manage their long-term health condition.  Contact Charles on 06 871 5646 for more information or to register.
