CHB Community Patrols - Volunteers Wanted
Community Patrols Waipukurau are looking for volunteers to help with evening community patrols across Waipukurau & Waipawa. Patrols usually take 2-2.5 hours, and volunteers patrol in teams of two. Volunteers can expect to be patrolling schools and businesses, checking for insecure buildings, damage and looking out for suspicious activity which is reported directly to local police. Health Shuttle - Volunteers Wanted
The Hato Hone St John Health Shuttle operates in Waipukurau and Pōrangahau, offering transport to and from medical and health-related appointments. The service is delivered by volunteers and is supported by koha/donations.
They are currently looking to recruit drivers for these services - if you have a full, clean driver's license, are physically fit, and have a day a week to spare, they would love to hear from you. Call them on 0800 424 778 if you're interested in volunteering.
