An information session on the Weber to Wimbledon Road project is being held tonight.
The Tararua District Council and Tararua Alliance will give project updates and details on what’s next for the works programme at the Weber Hall from 6pm tonight.

Over $40,000 in ticket sales have been reported for this year’s Spring Fling in Central Hawke’s Bay.
In all, 17 events made up the Spring Fling this year, with four remaining.
A number of visitors from outside the region have either attended a Spring Fling event or have tickets for one of the remaining ones.

More than 57,000 bowel screening kits have been posted out to eligible residents since the national Bowel Screening Programme was rolled out across the region four years ago.
Of those sent out, nearly 34,000 kits have been returned, with 1520 returning positive results requiring further investigation, and 83 cancers detected.
The packs are automatically sent to eligible residents aged between 60 and 74.
Work is underway to boost the 48 and 41 percent Maori and Pasifika participation in the programme, with the overall rate in Hawke’s Bay at 62 percent.

Tickets for the Sting Mission Concert in March next year go on sale this morning.
The Mission Concert Club presale begins at 10am.
Sting will play at the Mission on Saturday the 4th of March.
