Central Hawke’s Bay Police are asking drivers to take care due to winter conditions.
Seven motor vehicle accidents have occurred over the past two weeks, the latest around 6am yesterday on the round-a-bout on Porangahau Road near A’Deane Park.
Senior Constable Andy Walker said winter conditions, along with driver’s falling asleep, and distractions have all been reasons for the crashes.
He said there was also another at the intersection of SH2 and Higginson Street Otane, the third in the last couple of months.
