Sereena and Shelly were treated to a preview of the sold out show "The Old People Are Revolting" at the the Waipukurau Little Theatre on Tuesday 17th May.
Written by Devon Willamson and directed by Sarah Rogers this charming play will have you giggling from the very start! Taking place in the community lounge of the Sunshine retirement village the seniors (not elderly) receive some shocking news from local council. The news does not sit well with the residents of this retirement village and they decide to take a stand and revolt against local council.
Failing to come up with a legal but questionable plan these seniors execute an explosive plan landing them on the evening news!
The cast of this show must be commended on their authentic portrayal of their characters personalities right down to their facial expressions and movements.
Well done to all involved in this delightful production!
