A cyclist has died in an accident on Weber Road.
Emergency services were called to a serious crash just before 5pm yesterday between a vehicle and a bicycle.
A Police spokesperson said the cyclist died at the scene.
The road was closed until late last night to allow the Serious Crash Unit to undertake a scene examination.
The crash remains under investigation.

National Party MP and police spokesperson, Mark Mitchell, will visit Waipukurau and Dannevirke today for public meetings on law and order.
Mr Mitchell will speak at the Leopard Hotel Lounge Bar from midday until 1.10pm, and then move on to the Merrylees Hotel from 2.15 to 3.30pm.

Water restrictions in Dannevirke have been reduced.
The Tararua District Council moved the town to Level 3 restrictions after being on Level 4 since January.
The move to Level 3 means residents can use the likes of garden hoses for watering on alternate evenings.
Meanwhile the Council has lifted all water restrictions in Akitio.
