A heavy rain watch has been issued for Hawke's Bay.
A front moving slowly eastwards over the lower North Island will bring rain to many areas today and tomorrow.
For Hawke's Bay, the Metservice have issued a heavy rain watch for the 28 hour period from 7.00am today to 11.00am tomorrow . Forecasters say rainfall amounts may approach warning criteria.
