The Central Hawke’s Bay District Council is bringing its successful Community Roadshows to the OngaOnga community tomorrow.
Along with finding out about Council services, the Roadshow will also have information on budgeting services, Civil Defence, animal control, and welfare support.
The Roadshow is at the OngaOnga Hall from 10am to 1pm tomorrow.

Tararua District Council received 136 submissions on its draft Annual Plan.
Hearings were held last week on the submissions, which saw affordability as a common theme.
Mayor Tracey Collis said Council are very aware of the challenges everyday rising costs are placing on residents.
She said there was also a lot of concern regarding Councils’ debt limit, something which will be monitored closely.
Councillors will now hold workshops to deliberate on submissions before the Annual Plan is finalised before the end of this month.

A series of Rural Recovery Workshops begin in Hawke’s Bay today.
The Hawke’s Bay Rural Advisory Group is hosting the meetings, which will bring together industry experts to share information, advice, and support in the wake of Cyclone Gabrielle.
Topics will include land use recovery planning, revegetation planting, and recovery experiences.
Today’s workshop is being held at the Wallingford Hall from 12-3pm.
Tomorrow a workshop will be held at the Elsthorpe Hall from 12-3pm.
