Police are asking motorists to take care on a stretch of Porangahau Road.

Emergency services have been called to two accidents recently that have occurred between Arlington Road and Middleton Road.

Senior Constable Andy Walker said the accidents have occurred on a right-hand sweeping bend that’s got very little chip seal showing through.

In one of the accidents last Saturday the vehicle lost control, rolled, and went through a fence.

Mr Walker said thankfully there were no injuries in either accident.
