This is a memoir about one ordinary woman's journey through breast cancer and out the other side.

Meredith Norton is a thirtysomething black woman who has moved to Paris with her French husband and then discovers that she has breast cancer.  After some horrifying experiences of the health care system in Paris, she moves back to her family home in California with her husband and 11 month old son.  There she undergoes chemo, surgery, radiation and more chemo.  Meredith shares her journey with honesty, guts and humour.
